Responsibilities:

  • To manage the performance and development of theSenior Risk Consultants Team to ensure delivery against business targets and defined service to proposition (Volume and Quality)
  • To agree performance objectives and Personal Development Plans for team members and identify development potential within the team
  • To monitor key performance indicators to assess team performance against targets and implement improvement plans where necessary

Duties:

  • To effectively manage and monitor the level and flow of work within the team
  • To coach team members to help them deliver improved service to Customers and achieve their targets
  • To communicate, motivate and lead change within the team to achieve operational targets
  • To undertake appropriate site surveys/risk assessments and provide survey reports and information in accordance with departmental protocols and Quality standards
  • To provide loss prevention/technical advice and guidance to customers to customers on site and/or management level
  • To produce and maintain quality data within departmental systems
  • To provide account co-ordination for major and complex risks as required
  • To provide high quality risk management and loss prevention advice
  • In addition to your normal duties, you may be required to undertake other duties from time to time as required by the business

Qualifications needed for this Team Manager role:

Graduate Engineer or relevant Technical Qualification or relevant technical experience

Experience:

Relevant experience following the completion of risk management / risk engineering training.
